Style. Design. Love

Anne-Dorthe la Cour was inspired to make rugs to
follow the child.
Experience with traditional knitting and meticulous material handling achieved in masterclases by
textile artist Vibeke Lind – fulfilled the idea.
Rag knit is a traditional way of re-using yarn and gives memories of grandmothers with busy hands
and time to provide young generations in the family with handcrafted accessories.
The method of “valkning” which provides the rug with a “ full “ aspect, was used for centuries to
treat the wool, increasing the density and thereby making the knitted product warmer, more resistant
to wind and rain.
Wash caring is easy. The method is unique and a proces with hands on.
